The Letter G

The letter G is for gazing at a giant globe of geography.

These get tougher and tougher. I think I was influenced on the map and globe trends I have been seeing on many home decor blogs. Six more letters to go.

The Letter I

I is for Ironing for which I am board...

I was kind of blank on this one. They get harder and harder to do. So I started to leaf through the dictionary and came across the word iron which of course lead to ironing board. Not one of my favorite activities, but I am sure many relate.

The Letter J

J is for Jump Rope

I was looking through some old photos and found one of me in pigtails. Of course the next thought was of jump rope.

Mary Janes, those black patent leather shoes with the strap with the white anklet socks were all the rage for five and six year olds.

The Letter K

The Letter K was inspired by Charles M. Schulz of Peanuts fame. I kept thinking of the "kite eating tree" he wrote about and illustrated. Of course there has to be a kitty for K as well. The red bird is not quite a kookaburra sitting in the old gum tree, but he still may have a sense of humor.

The Letter L

L has been a puzzle. Lilac? Lad? Lion? I so like the L shape when it has a script like shape rather than the right angle it presents as a font.

Leaf came to mind when playing with a font that made shapes. Actually it was a M or N that gave me a leaf shape. The rest just evolved. The ladybug or two was the final touch I couldn't resist.

It would seem I can't make up my mind on color...

 Or background!!!

Please vote for your favorite! I would enjoy hearing from you on any illustrated letter ideas.

Meantime I will now ponder K.

The Letter M

This is the idea I had before I started the letter N. Since mustaches are trendy, it seemed fitting to do a mustache "M".  Of course he is singing music which also connects with "M". He is rather a goofy character, but I suppose that is why I like him.
