S is for Seal

I am doing a show this summer which will feature my illustrated letters. I just realized my letter S that I created awhile ago is more holiday piece. So here is a new letter S as a cute seal in a sailor hat holding a starfish.

      I use Photoshop for many of them. I sketch out my ideas and scan in the sketch or sometimes or just start from scratch in Photoshop, I have used Painter as well. I had fallen in love with Photoshop in my days of designing for American Greetings. It was so much better than working with layers of tracing paper and my eraser. Photoshop also appeals to my love of collage. Although I am getting the yearnings to do some watercolors with actual brush and paper. Thanks for your compliments.
