Letter Updates

R is for Robin and Rose

Reviewing some of my work and making a few changes. I decided in reviewing the image below to make a few changes. When looking at the above illustration you can see I enlarged the robin as well as eliminating the tile foreground.

My hope it makes a better impact.

I also decided to make color changes for more impact on another letter R design.

Above is the older version of R is for Raccoon and Rake. I felt it could use a bit more color pop.

R is for Raccoon, Rake, and Robin

Here is the updated version.

That is the beauty of working digital...you get to play and make changes that you think may improve one's illustration.

Will escaping the cold of winter it was fun coming up with yet another letter R for my whimsical letter collection called Alphabet Soup.

R is not only for the raccoon and red rake but robin as well.

You can fine this illustration and many others on my Fine Art America site.

One of the things about working in greeting card world for several decades was learning to change art and repackage it for the better.

Initially the above piece was just R is for Rose, no robin, nor raspberries for that matter.

So after staring at it over the spring and summer I thought to warm it up a bit tying into more R words.

It gives it a new life like a new hairdo or dress. It needed a little more live interest and whimsy.

And it makes for a more interesting T-shirt you can find on my Fine Art America Link.

R is for Rose and Robbin as monogram T-shirt.

R is for Robot!

R is for Robot

Here is the latest for the Letter R.  Brand spanking new for 2017.

R is for Robot, but what is his name? Rusty or Randy, Rick, or Ray? His name is the same as the color he bares which is Red as you can see. Red has a creation stamp as well as a place. Check the zip code he bares Rocky River as his place of birth.

His friend is a Raven named Rebel who occasionally shows up on Red's Radar.

R is for Rose

Okay, this is the fourth letter R that I have designed! But 2 of them are, well not feminine at all, and one is definitely for kids, so I felt I would take another stab at it.

So if you like roses, or your name is Rose, this letter R is right up your alley.

Of course, I like to add a few ladybugs for luck!
